Alive After Five

Alive After Five is an outdoor business expo with vendor booths, musician, food, and local entertainment along Sixth Street in downtown Clarkston. The event is held on the first Thursday of every month, May – October. The committee meets every Monday during the event at 8:30 am at Wasem’s.

Ambassadors Committee

An honorary branch of the chamber whose members act as representatives at groundbreakings, grand openings, dedications and other events. Ambassadors welcome and greet new businesses and new Chamber members, sponsor the monthly Business After Hours, and put on the Business Expo. Meets monthly the first Friday of each month at 12:30 p.m. at various locations.

Christmas Parade Committee

Organizes the annual Christmas parade which is held the first Saturday in December. The committee is working to develop the parade into a festival event.  Meets as needed September through December.

Community Spirit Committee

The Community Spirit Commitee sponsors floats for the Asotin Parade and the Lighted Christmas Parade. They head up the Vernon Park lighting project as well. The committee meets as needed.

Heart of Clarkston Committee

The Heart of Clarkston Action Group was formed in 2008 to enhance the economic and cultural vibrancy of the community. The Heart of Clarkston meets the third Thursday of each month at 8 AM in Wasem’s upstairs unit.

Junior Miss Committee

The Junior Miss Committee meet as needed during the planning stages of the annual Junior Miss Program, which is held in March. They coordinate and host the program, providing over $3,000 in scholarships to participants.

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month with the delegates of the legislative districts during legislative session – January, February, and March.

Lewis-Clark Young Professionals

The goal of the group is to cultivate the young leaders of the Lewis-Clark Valley to promote educational, community, and professional development. The group is open to anyone ages 21 – 40. Meets on the first Thursday of every month.

Marketing Committee

The objective of the Marketing Committee is to build a community brand and increase communication with members and the community at large through marketing opportunities. The committee meets continually throughout the year.

Natural Resources Committee

This is a joint committee with the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce. Committee members deal with issues such as timber and salmon. Meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 a.m. at Hazel’s Good Eats in Clarkston.

Spring Break Annual Dinner and Auction

Spring Break is the major fund raising event for the chamber. Held each spring, this semi-formal affair has live and silent auction, live music and dinner. This group is always looking for people with a creative flair!
